This rural tourism house is located in the village of Surribas, 10 km from Chantada, in the heart of Ribeira Sacra. The property has 8,221 m² of land completely walled in stone and houses an ancient Galician farmhouse with an award-winning architectural restoration. The main house is the only one with two courtyards inside, unique spaces that preserve the impressive exposed wooden beam structures and original masonry walls. It has 10 very spacious double rooms, each named after a writer from the area, all with private bathrooms. Common areas include a large kitchen equipped with modern appliances and traditional wood-burning stove, an enormous dining room with fireplace and large skylight, and various living areas. One of the courtyards is used for cultural exhibitions. The complex is completed with an annex building housing a wood-burning oven and ancient iron forge, plus the enormous traditional stone and wood granary. The property has 5 exterior access doors and extensive green areas. The location in Ribeira Sacra, candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status, offers access to terraced vineyards, Romanesque churches and the Miño canyons. Excellent connectivity with Santiago de Compostela (40 min), Lugo (1h) and Vigo (1h 30min).
