It`s a vibrant village with a great community spirit - there are no less than three annual fiestas celebrating the two patron saints and the orange harvest. Just a couple of minutes` walk from the house is the popular Los Naranjos restaurant, and the fine dining restaurant, Elysium, featured in this year`s Michelin guide. Despite feeling a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city and coast, Melegís is a 30-minute drive to the centre of beautiful Granada, and a 25-minutes from the nearest beaches at Playa Granada and Salobreña. In Winter you can be at the ski resort of Sierra Nevada in under hour. The closest airports are Malaga (1 hour and 20 minutes) and Granada (35 minutes). The Lecrin Valley is also a tourism destination and this house holds an active tourism license.
