Location Los Tablones, also called Los Tablones de Motril, is a Spanish town belonging to the municipality of Motril, in the province of Granada. It is located in the central part of the Granada coast. Near this town are the nuclei of La Garnatilla, Puntalón and Las Ventillas.It is a series of villages and hamlets scattered at different levels, on land platforms flanked by ravines as tables or earthen tables, and surrounded by the Sierra de Lújar. The main nucleus is the so-called Tablón de la Escuela, which brings together several houses, the old school —currently a multipurpose room— and the church of San Antonio de Padua.
