Town house located in the Madrelagua neighborhood of Valleseco, where they call La Higuerilla. From many parts of the house: from its large roof; from the terrace with porch on the upper floor; Through the windows of its very large kitchen on the ground floor, you can contemplate the views of this entire area of the summit. Madrelagua is one of the green and forested areas par excellence of Gran Canaria. Agricultural and livestock area, where you can still hear the sounds of the countryside. They are two houses in one. The grandparents of the family built a first typical Canarian home, which is completely preserved: stone floor; stone door lintels (their initials can still be seen on the floor); beams that support the floor of the upper floor of old wood; gable roof. The family grew and over the years works were done to give more comfort and space to said house and in 1972 another home was added. This extension made the house have two entrances: Through one we access a very large room with a kitchen, breakfast area and dining room where the family lives together. On the other we access the living room, where we have a toilet, access to the large bedroom on the ground floor - which served as a room for the animals in the original home. These rooms, kitchen and living room, are connected from the inside. From the living room starts the staircase that leads to the upper floor, where we have another very large bedroom and another living room. From here we can go out to two terraces: the oldest, a covered and sheltered porch with wonderful views; and on the other towards the roof of the most recent home. It is a part of the house that could be expanded. Right now it only has use of the terrace. From here we access a bedroom with a bathroom and another room that now serves as a storage room. The house has a built-in tool room in its exterior wall, where you can store tools, or agricultural products to use in the three hundred square meters of agricultural land that the house has thirty meters from the door, where you can have your garden, your chicken coop,...
