This Modernist mansion was built on old foundations, in 1904 by Diego Rame and most of the building, both externally and internally, is untouched. An incredible piece of history. The beautiful, tiled floors, the ornate iron work and the incredible facade are testament to the wealth and discerning taste of the owner. The main house has more than 20 rooms the majority with ceilings 4 metres high and those at the front of the building, framed by carved stonework, arched windows, and beautifully ornate ironwork. Most floors still have the tiles laid down in 1904 which are generally in good condition. 'Casa Rame' stands in contrast to the normal more stoic and understated design of the area’s housing. Although the property, of course, needs reforming to transform it to a residence fit for the 21st century the structure is solid and the asking price more than reflective of the investment required.
