This traditional Galician-type property provides a unique and wonderful environment. The property is formed of two stone constructions of more than 170 years old, maintaining the typical architecture of a traditional Galician cottage. As we arrive at the property, we are welcomed by a large wooden gate that leads through a pretty courtyard decorated with flowers, plants and a fantastic fountain to the entrance area of the house. On entering the property, we find a landscaped flat plot with a mature garden area filled with fruit trees, bushes, plants and flowers. A beautiful entrance hall filled with natural light leads us into a fantastic living/dining room, an open and very bright space due to the fantastic large windows and sliding doors which lead to the garden and pool area. In the right wing is the eat-in kitchen, with an original traditional stone oven. The interior is finished with natural stone throughout and combined with quality wood. Every corner of this property is lovely and full of charm and natural light. The living and dining area has a beautiful fireplace and views of the garden area. On this same floor, there are two very spacious and bright bedrooms with lots of character; stone and pine wood predominate in the design, and wooden floors make these spaces relaxing and cosy. There is a large bathroom on the same level. A staircase leads down to the lower part of the cottage. Downstairs we find the large en-suite bedroom with a small study section. This room also has an independent entrance from a charming back patio, which leads via stairs to the front of the house, the garden and the swimming pool area. A guest house with a private entrance links to the main house. In the guest house, we find two levels with a mezzanine floor. Currently, used as a sleeping area, a bathroom is on the floor beneath and a leisure area. This space is currently used for the youngest members of the family, a fun and private place. Outside we find a large mature garden, a large swimming pool, and a beautiful and large Galician hórreo (granary) that makes the whole magical. There are lovely outdoor porches that invite you to relax and comfort. A lovely rustic construction near the main house is being used as a summer a barbecue area, and makes a great space with a lot of charm that invites you to entertain family and guests. An ideal property for a growing family or couples to enjoy with friends and family is located in a lovely area near beautiful: beaches and a short distance from the city centre of Vigo and the town of Nigrán.
