Gondaísque This house is in a small hamlet close to Vilalba was built before 1900. It is a stone house although the front is covered with quicklime and sand as was common in the past. The roof is slate from that same area. It is a tipical house, its owners were farmers and shared their house with many of the animals, cows, sheep, chhickens and pigs, The pigs were the base of thier protein intake in the past throughout the year (but certainly not the only protein) for this reason the areas within the property were for the humans and animals. In front of the house we will see the lower window from the kitchen, above that a window which opens up onto a spacious bedroom. In the center is the main door that opens onto the main part of the house, and above it the balcony with a door/double window that iluminates another bathroom.Another similar door/ window opens up from the balcony into one of the dining rooms Another door on the bottom level gives access to the animal pens where the cattle used to be stabled above this door there are two windows that light up another room that was used as bedroom and dining room, and even more to the left a door and window that open up onto the bread oven where the owners used to bake the bread. As we enter the house we come into a patio from there there is access to the animal pens through one door and another door into the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a pantry where originally the owners used to salt meat. From this are the stairs lead to the all the different rooms above; dining room, bathroom, balcony, three bedrooms. The dining room is very big as it was used for fiestas when many people came to eat. On the lower floor we have more animal pens and a bathroom and the door onto the walled vegetable garden where there is an elevated grain store. The internet conections are excellent as you will see from the photographs of the dials.Any reading under 120 is considered very good and at this house there are three servers in that range.
